FAQ’S

Will there be an opportunity for my child to view the school?

Yes! This spring, an evening event will be planned for incoming Kindergarten students and their parents. This will be your child’s initial introduction to their new school and include storytelling, crafts, and snacks. You will be contacted with more details about the event date/time.

How will my child’s classroom placement be determined?

In the spring of 2024, you will be contacted by Golden Brook School to schedule an appointment for assessment testing for your Kindergarten student. The results of this screening will help the Kindergarten team determine proper classroom placement.

Will there be another opportunity to visit the school before the first day of school?

Yes! A new student “Meet & Greet” will occur at the end of August. Kindergarten students will have the chance to meet their classroom teacher, visit the school, and experience what it is like to get on and off a school bus. You will be contacted with more details and the event date/time.
